Diamond Dawgs face Vandy

Well, it doesn't look like it will rain today, so they'll have to play. Game one is at noon. Game two is scheduled at 4:05 and will be televised by CSS. Vandy is number 2 in the nation. They lead the conference in every major offensive category other than home runs. Their team BA is higher than all but two of Georgia's players. They have stolen nearly six times more bases than Georgia (87/15). They also have 70 more walks for the season than Georgia. They are a patient at the plate and aggressive on the bases.

Vandy pitches equally as well. They sport a 2.65 team ERA, a .213 BAA. They have only given up 8 home runs. Combine that with our swing for the fences approach, not getting run ruled is a legitimate goal.
