Lady Dawgs Fall in Regional Final

They gave Cal all they could handle. The 2-3 zone stiffled Cal and worked to perfection. Regretfully, we just didn't hit shots when we needed to. I could nit pick us letting them play instead of fouling with a minute left in OT, especially considering how poorly Cal did (and has) shot FTs, but Landers was playing percentages in trying to get a stop.

I've got to admit, Coach Landers showed us he's still got it. We were a couple of bounces from going to the final four, instead of crapping ourselves against an opponent with a better record and losing by 25 in the Sweet 16. Cal is a very good basketball team and we went toe to toe with them.
